Complex profiles that are difficult or even impossible to cut using conventional cutting processes are cut easily and economically with computer controlled water jet cutting. Virtually, any kind of material like granite, plastics, glass, sheet rubber, graphite composites, friction materials, laminates, ferrous and non-ferrous metals are cut effectively with a water jet. While laser cutting is generally faster, the water jet eliminates heat build-up at the cutline, making it possible to cut materials that a laser may damage.
  • The cutting process is initiated by forcing high pressure water through a tiny orifice which results in the concentration of high energies into a tiny area, finally causing the cut
  • Complex shapes and designs, reflective and non reflective materials are cut perfectly without any burrs, roughness or compressed edges
  • As no heat is generated in water jet cutting process, metal properties do not get altered during cutting
  • Softer materials are subjected to direct water jet cutting using high pressure water whereas harder materials like titanium, glass, steel, ceramics, etc use abrasives along with high pressure water
  • Greater accuracy, high edge quality, minimal fixture requirements, elimination of thermal distortion, and exclusion of mechanically induced stresses are some of the advantages of our water jet cutting
